How often is this ranking updated?
Every two weeks. The calendar is cut into fixed 14-day periods and the page shows the most recent completed one, so the numbers you read today are the same numbers you can quote next week — a rolling window would move under you daily.
What is a chart-day?
One genre holding one rank on one platform for one day. A show sitting at #3 on two platforms for ten days is twenty chart-days. It measures how much of the board a genre occupies, which is a different question from how many separate shows exist in it.
Where does the data come from?
The daily TOP-10 boards of ReelShort, ShortMax and GoodShort, read from each platform's own ranked shelf, plus DramaBox and DramaWave, whose catalogues are read from their official YouTube channels. Nothing here is a survey or an estimate.
Why are some genres listed as ones you do not build?
Because they are charting and we do not offer them. Billionaire CEO and werewolf romance are the two largest examples. Telling you a lane is hot and then quietly not shipping it would waste your time, so both tables are printed.
Does a smaller genre mean it is a bad choice?
Not on its own. A crowded lane means proven demand and more competition; a thin one can mean an opening or an audience that is not there. The chart tells you what the market is currently rewarding, not what you personally can execute.
